News Features Eye-Com Lab Drive Simulator

The local news station KRNV News 4, an NBC affiliate, featured the Eye-Com Lab Drive Simulator. When used in combination with the Eye-Com EC7T eye tracking system, the drive simulator can be used to study the effects of drowsiness and fatigue on driving performance. The EC7T can detect “microsleeps” that indicate the onset of impairing levels of drowsiness, which can trigger an alarm to alert the driver of their risky state of consciousness.
