M.D. News is created by and targeted for medical doctors and health care executives as a national resource for the latest news in the industry. A continuation from the original article, the new piece titled, “Crossing the Threshold, When Dreams Become Reality,” reveals the progress that has been made with regard to both the technology and the company as a whole.
From the time the last article, “On the Threshold of a Dream,” was published 2 years ago, the Eye-Com team has grown considerably from a mere 10 to over 20 in the current office, which also moved locations since then. In addition, there has been considerable progress in the Eye-Com eye tracking technology platform from the comparatively primitive EC6 to the much more advanced EC7T Biosensor, Communicator, and Controller system. The article takes an in depth look at the inspiration behind the Eye-Com project and what its founder, neurologist and sleep specialist Dr. William Torch, envisions for the company’s future.
