Eye-Com™ Biosensor

The Eye-Com™ can collect several optical measurements (oculometrics) and movement patterns that can be used for research and to evaluate and assess a variety of human health-related and behavioral conditions. The following are just a few of the oculometrics that can be obtained using the Eye-Com™ Biosensor system:

• Percentage of time eyes are closed overtime (PERCLOS)
• Eye Blink Duration (EBD)
• Eye Blink Frequency (EBF)
• Pupil Size and Area

Eye-Com Corporation is currently investigating the possibility of integrating the Eye-Com™ Biosensor with additional biometric technologies like brain-wave (EEG) and cardiac (EKG) sensors for comprehensive biomonitoring purposes.
